Release of Liability

To attend RMUN, all delegates under the age of 18 must sign a waiver to acknowledge Rice Univeristy’s minor on campus policies. Waiver. Before the start of opening ceremonies, RMUN staff must be provided with these waivers by email or by the tools provided following registration.

Hotel Accommodations

There are several hotels in the Texas Medical Center that offer a very short commute to the campus of Rice. We do not have an official conference hotel this year.

Conference Fee

In order to put on the conference, Rice MUN will ask for a delegate fee. This fee supports reserving facilities, materials, and conference operations. Conference fees are outlined on the registration page.

Lunch

Delegations will be expected to find meals independently between committee sessions. There are many cafe options on campus, as well as restaurants in Rice Village. If this will prove a problem, inform the secretary general of any concerns. Eating inside of rice classrooms is prohibited.

Because we are offering a relatively limited number of committees, we anticipate that the remainder of registration slots will be filled before the registration deadline. We understand that schools may need extra flexibility so we have decided to accept full-refund cancellations up to payment being due. As such, we highly recommend that you register now if your school is interested in attending.
